NYC - Day 4 - Food and Farewells
New York, NY
05.23.2016 - 05.23.2016
Today we took the subway to Greenwich Village for a walking food tour. It was a nice change from the skyscrapers and crowds of Manhattan.
We started at Joe's Pizza with a cheese pizza made with fresh ingredients.
O & Co. sells herb infused olive oils. We sampled crostinis drizzled in a basil infused oil.
Pesce Pasta let us sample meatballs.
The Doughnut Project was a cute place.
Rafele Ristorante gave us samples of manicotti and I also had a sangria.
Milk & Cookies
Some of the neighborhood scenes while walking around.
The inspiration for "Friends" hangout...Central Perk.
Murray's was full of fantastic cheeses and meats.
Pasticceria Rocco was an Italian bakery that let us sample mini cannolis.
We are a group of women with happy bellies.
Well, our trip was coming to an end and we were all just getting to know each other. We felt a little sad that we didn't have a few more days together.
Later that night, we boarded the Bateaux for our farewell dinner. We had a fantastic meal as the sun set on the city skyline and we danced our hearts out to the tunes of the band. It was an amazing way to end an incredible trip.
